During a recent club performance, 50 Cent tried to teach Busta Rhymes the proper way to perform the latter’s timeless smash “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See,” and the results were hilarious and entertaining.
In a fan-filmed clip from the duo’s Sunday night (November 27) club performance, DJ SpinKing begins with the groove from Busta’s “Pass the Courvoisier Part II,” then Fif enters to start the song. Busta called out his fellow rap icon 50 while pausing the music to change the song.
Busta stated to the crowd, “The n-gga said he could perform ‘Put Your Hands’ better than me,” to which 50 quickly broke into the song’s opening bar.
50 rapped, “Hit you wit no delayin’ so what you sayin’ yo?” to the delight of the audience. “That’s it right there,” I said.
Before SpinKing dropped the beat and Fif gave his best Busta Rhymes impression, the two traded jokes back and forth. But not before Fif playfully said, “Man y’all gon’ have to pay me huge money for this shit.”
A few years ago, after Busta was the target of one of 50’s infamous trolling incidents, the two engaged in a back-and-forth exchange on Instagram.
50 commented, “And the prize for the strongest neck in hip hop goes to Bussa Buss,” beside a picture of Busta. YAAH LOL #lecheminduroi, grab the strap.
Busta responded with an old photo of 50 and a few words, not seeming to think it funny.
“Damn Busta wrote, “I’m just paying attention to what’s going on because I’ve been busy finishing up this new record. “Yo ass was packin’ up my brother @50cent,” I heard. Your tight button face and ass nigga make your tough appearance look ridiculous. You have a rotten face and appear to have been smelling bad due to your bandana.
“Fuck you beginning with me for? That’s why I’m constantly busting your asses and everyone else’s asses on every stage! You perform like a deflated tire, nigga! You must now go and grab EVERY Strap!
Even Casanova got involved at one point as the relationship moved back and forth, but today it’s obvious that they are in love.
