Despite persistent allegations to the contrary, 21 Savage recently asserted that he does not have a “celebrity girlfriend.”
The Neighborhood Talk, a gossip website, posted an audio tape of 21 Savage on Thursday (Nov. 1) during a Clubhouse chat session, in which he categorically denied having a “famous girlfriend.” In light of persistent reports that the Her Loss creator is dating Grammy-nominated rapper Latto, he remarked.
“I stay away from the theatrics and crap. I don’t have a famous girlfriend “He announced. “I won’t be going everywhere. I don’t release new music every two weeks. I won’t be appearing on [Instagram] Live every other week to discuss niggas.”
Before all that shit happened, he said, “I and Nas were talking about music, about my kids. Before this, “we, like, been planning how we were going to do a song on my mum.”
21 is referring to his contentious statement that Nas wasn’t important to the younger rap listeners during a Clubhouse session. The 30-year-old rhymer’s remark triggered a heated discussion online. Nas and 21 released their joint single, “One Mic, One Gun,” on Tuesday (Nov. 29). Fans of all ages hailed the release on social media.
21 Savage insisted that he has always respected the Queensbridge great and has long been a fan of music.
He told him he was a fan of his work, and I told him the same thing before all of this shit happened. I had his number, he said. He understood what I was trying to convey since I ain’t even that kind of nigga, which is why he didn’t take what I said disrespectfully.
