GloRilla‘s climb to stardom has been rapid, and not too long ago, the aspiring rapper from Memphis was employed by a regular 9–5 job.
The “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” rapper can be seen working at Checkers’ drive-thru in recent videos.
While processing orders at the fast food restaurant on Tuesday, Nov. 29, TikTok user primeape09 shared a vintage video of Glo on Instagram Live. She starts off the video by making jokes with the viewers while she is life, initially making fun of one person for begging for free food. Later, she claps back at someone who made fun of her tooth gap.
“‘What’s up, gap?’ Boy, you better get your ugly ass back before I block your little ugly lame ass,” GloRilla says.
She immediately shifts settings after having a customer.
When GloRilla was a senior in high school in 2016, she worked at Checkers in Memphis. She shared a picture of herself working at Checkers in June alongside a picture of her holding actual stacks of cash. Both pictures were uploaded to Instagram.
She captioned the pictures, “A lot of people think ts occurred for me overnight not knowing the hard work & dedication I been putting in for years to get here!! “I experienced humiliation, with no help at all! I did sob into my pillow numerous times because I thought I wasn’t progressing, but I never gave up! Always said that manifestation is actual, and not IF! Before FNF, I had lost so much crap! Friends, and family, I was sleeping on glossy and cushy couches while I was broke as hell but I was making it appear beautiful. I tell this to emphasize that you should never give up on your dreams since everything can change in a split second You all need to understand that it doesn’t end here; I’ve got my foot on their necks and I’m not going to stop. Let’s go!
The hit single “Tomorrow 2” with Cardi B from GloRilla’s major label debut album Anyways, Life’s Great… was just released earlier this month.
