Rat has revealed that her boyfriend pays all the bills and believes all relationships should work that way.
In an interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 radio station, the 777 rappers encouraged women to “freak out” with their husbands as long as they were in a committed relationship.
“If that’s your thing, go nuts,” she said. If he comes like that, yes.
A radio host stepped in to clarify that Rat was “piling up all the cheese” from her successful music career while her boyfriend filed the bill for her.
“I don’t pay bills!” she replied. “But it should be. If it works, it works.”
It’s unclear who Rat’s mystery man is, but the “Big Energy” hitmaker isn’t the only rapper who believes his partner should pay for everything. City Girls star JT last year admitted that Lil Uzi Vale pays all the bills, joking, “I don’t even know what the first of the month is.”
“Uzi does anything for me,” she said on Yung Miami’s Caresha Please podcast. He pays all the bills. I don’t pay the bills. I don’t even know what the first day of the month is! ”
she added:
“This is real City Girl shit! I’m housed as if I don’t pay the bills. Bitch so who does that?”
Juicy J and YK Osiris are also in favor of men paying all the bills, saying that if someone truly respects their wives, it’s the right thing to do.
Juicy tweeted in March of last year, “There is nothing wrong with paying a woman’s expenses we gotta stop this Bullshit. “Mane y’all trippin’ you MF go to strip club throw your monthly check then talk about ‘im not paying no B’ mane stop it!” ”
YK agreed, declaring in an interview in December of last year that he pays for everything and has no issue with it.
“I will cover all costs,” he insists. “I pay bills and stuff like that. I would never make a woman pay for hair or nails. It’s crazy. No, I’m not paying for having no hair or nails.” I don’t know about other N-Ggas. I just know what I’m doing. ”
In another piece of his Latto news, the Grammy-nominated rapper’s underwear was featured. Earlier this week, Twitter trolls accused her of wearing the same cheetah-print thong in two photos. “No, it’s Pantipolis.”
The rat then decided to take it one step further and put the “used” panties up for sale on her eBay. The listing sparked a fierce bidding war among her fans, with bids reaching nearly $100,000. However, the auction was eventually taken down by eBay because it violated its policy.
eBay’s Customer Service website on Twitter confirmed, “Used underwear is not allowed on site. Please report any listings you observe in contravention of the policy.
Latto may have missed out on a five-figure payday from her pants, but this weekend’s 2023 Grammy Awards, where she will compete alongside artists like Muni Long, Tobe Nwigwe, and Anitta, have her in the running for Best New Artist.
