Cher is over the moon about her relationship with the music executive despite the 40-year age difference between them.
Despite initial speculation that this relationship was a publicity gimmick, Cher and Alexander “AE” Edwards are indeed dating. When they were seen leaving a hot location hand in hand weeks ago, they first hinted at their romance. The two celebrities initially denied it was real, despite suggestions that they were acting for the paparazzi.
The 40-year age disparity between Cher and Edwards has drawn attention. The Edwards is 36 years old, whilst the legendary icon is 76. On The Kelly Clarkson Show, Cher commented, “On paper, it’s kind of absurd.” But we get along well in real life. He’s amazing. And I don’t bestow upon folks traits they don’t merit.
Cher said, “He’s hilarious, very smart, very talented, and he’s very kind. And I find him to be extremely attractive. The singer told Clarkson that she would never go on a date if she hung out looking for guys her age.
“Older men just weren’t that into me. Cher questioned, “Do you understand what I mean? “I’ve had a few lovers who were roughly my age, but for some reason, they just didn’t like me. Additionally, it’s possible that younger men don’t care if you have a strong personality, are wild or hilarious, or want to do silly things. I won’t compromise my personality for anyone, promise.
