Concerning his work with Nas and being referred to as a “ghostwriter,” Quentin Miller complained.
Tuesday, Quentin Miller shared his thoughts on his recent collaboration with Nas on Instagram. Miller discussed collaborating with the renowned rapper on the New Rory & MAL podcast back in September.
He started writing for Nas, Big Sean, G-Eazy, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, and other artists back then. The remarks have recently reappeared, fueling accusations that Nas has used ghostwriters.
Now that people are contacting him to ask for clarification, he says, “I guess this whole Quentin worked with Nas topic is getting a bit more viral than what I imagined.” Off the strength, I want to thank Hit-Boy for the chance he gave me by letting me work with Nas and inviting me to the studio!
I pulled up on Hit-Boy, I entered the space, I tossed around some ideas, and there we are, he said. Make it clear. I just tossed some ideas around, and a few of them stood out. That’s all there is to the Nas stuff; nothing else.

I also highlighted other musicians I collaborated with. I mentioned additional artists, like Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, and G-Eazy, and he continued. “Writers frequently upload their work online and discuss it in public. Do you understand the reason? It facilitates the writing industry. People are more likely to collaborate with you when they are aware that you were a part of particular initiatives. It sort of fits with the work.
Later on in the video, he rants about being referred to as a “ghostwriter” and clarifies that he is a songwriter.
Quentin Miller is not a ghostwriter, let me state that straight away, he declared. I don’t care if I never collaborate with another artist again; I despise the fucking business. Working with Quentin Miller means that you have done so. And you had better feel confident mentioning that you collaborated with Quentin Miller!
